Simple recipe: Fudge Muffins

When it comes to baking, Glenn has always been the one taking charge. I provide the recipe, he bakes. He only allows me to help him with minor chores like pouring a tablespoon of milk. -.- Ah well. Nevertheless, I am always glad whenever I can be of some help to him. Haha!

Last Thursday, we baked some fudge muffins! I got the recipe here but we tweaked it a little by replacing peanut butter with nutella and because our muffin cups are bigger, we could only make two muffins.

You will need:

1 pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoon flour
2 tablespoon sugar
4 tablespoon milk
1 tablespoon oil
1.5 tablespoon Nutella
Banana slices
Chocolate chips

Step 1:

Put 2 tablespoon of sugar, 2 tablespoon of flour, 1/2 of teaspoon baking powder and 1 pinch of salt in a bowl. Mix well.

Step 2:

Add 4 tablespoon of milk, 1 tablespoon of oil and 1.5 tablespoon of Nutella in the same bowl.

Step 3 (optional):

Add in banana slices and chocolate chips to top it off.

Step 4:
Preheat oven for 10 minutes at 180C. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 155C.
Tada, you are done! We thought the muffins turned out especially moist, so you might want to cut down on the milk. But this is by far the best and easiest muffins we have ever made! We have no idea why but the muffins we previously baked, all look like huat kueh hahaha.
Give this a try and let us know how it turns out! Have fun baking!
